The softness of your tender touch,
Your voice that calms our hearts,
The patient way you hold a child,
When misbehaving starts.
The way you seem to know what's wrong,
Whenever children cry,
And always know just what to do,
To calm the tearful eye.
There are so many special things,
That all the world can see,
But as I see the "Mom" in you,
That tops the list for me.
So, with these words straight from my heart,
And on this special day
You're everything a "Mom" could be,
Have a Happy Mother's Day!
