There comes a time in all our lives
When loved ones go away.
Sometimes they move or have to leave,
When they would rather stay.
Sometimes they leave, returning home,
To Father up above,
To feel the joy within His arms,
And bask within His love.
For those of us that stay behind
With hearts that miss them so,
We have a cause to morn and weep,
For those that had to go.
And as we do, let’s all recall,
The times that were so sweet;
The stories of remembered things,
that keep our love complete.
For in remembering those times,
They’ll live with us each day,
And cherishing the life they shared,
Are blessings that will stay.
It is the joys in love we share,
With those we hold so dear,
That with us will forever stay
and keep those mem’ries clear.
