While waking in the early morn.
I think of you and pray,
Then wonder what you’re thinking of,
Or what you’ll think to say.

I faintly hear your breathing sounds,
And then I turn to see,
The soft and lovely smile you have,
As you look back at me.

And then I look into your eyes,
And see the love we share,
And feel my heart begin to race,
With love beyond compare.

And then you say, "Good morning" in,
Your soft and gentle way,
And then I feel the joys of love,
As we begin our day.
