Our Blessings

I would need a bushel basket
Full of fingers on my hands,
Just to count the many blessings
God has given to this land.

We've been given woods and seashores,
And the plains for growing grain,
While He's blessed our land with deserts
And he's given us the rain.

He has given us the mountains
With their rivers and their lakes,
And provided all the wildlife,
And he's done it for our sakes.

But the best of all His blessings
Are our lives and liberty,
And the freedom that He gave us,
And our priceless agency.

Now for these, and all our blessings
We give thanks to God above,
As we share our many blessings;
And we give our sacred love.
